Francis Ngannou punches Junior Dos Santos in their heavyweight bout during the UFC On ESPN 3 event at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His bout against former UFC heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos, which headlined last night’s UFC on ESPN 3 fight card, was the longest of those three outings. That question once again went unanswered when Ngannou dropped Dos Santos to the mat early in the fight and finished him with ground strikes. Dos Santos landed four of six significant strikes, two of which were blows to Ngannou’s legs, while Ngannou landed nine of the 19 significant strikes he attempted. Five of those strikes landed to Dos Santos’ head, one to the body and three to the legs.
