Dustin Poirier continued his march up the lightweight rankings at Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 120 fight card. Poirier dispatched former 155-pound champion Anthony Pettis in the third round of their main event contest via TKO when Pettis tapped due to a rib injury. Four fighters on the fight card, which was broadcast on FS1, received potential six-month medical suspensions. Two of those fighters won their bouts, including Raphael Assuncao who knocked out Matthew Lopez in the third round of their catchweight bout. Lopez, despite the KO loss, was suspended for 60 days.
