The event was scheduled for this summer from June 12 to July 12 across 12 countries, including England, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland. Wembley Stadium was due to host seven matches during the tournament, including the semi-finals and final. One proposal put forward suggests that both the Champions League and Europa League are completed in a four-day mini tournament.
