Kericho County Assembly Speaker Patrick Mutai has been summoned to appear before the UDA Disciplinary Committee following chaos that rocked the House on Friday. In a letter dated January 13, committee chair Charles Njenga directed Mutai to appear before the panel on January 20. On Friday, Kericho MCAs got into wrangles over House leadership, leading to fistfights and throwing of a chair. Njenga said the drama witnessed at the House has compromised the party's reputation. If the complaint against Mutai is established, Njenga said, he will be disciplined in accordance the party Constitution.
