Photos shared by sources show that the Kitui East MP was handcuffed by the police following the alleged assault on the Kenya Power employee. Yesterday, police in Kitengela arrested two of the MP's aides after conducting a raid on the MP's home. During the raid, Kenya Power officials recovered equipment belonging to the utility company from the under-construction home. At the time of the raid, the UDA MP was not present as he had returned to Nairobi, according to reports. The Isinya Sub-County Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss, Benjamin Ndebai, confirmed that the assaulted Kenya Power engineer had filed a report at their station.
