An ordained minister described as a leader in Calgary's Chinese community has replaced the star United Conservative Party candidate who resigned earlier this week after controversial messages she sent came to light. Private Facebook messages, which CBC has verified, show Ford once lamented there was a double standard for white supremacist terrorists. Wong's UCP nomination website was not active Wednesday night. Ford's resignation has been one of several upsets in the United Conservative Party in recent days. The Office of the Election Commissioner announced additional fines in relation to Callaway's UCP leadership campaign on Tuesday.
