UCLA's loss was a trial by fire for offensive coordinator Kennedy Polamalu too

Offensive coordinator Kennedy Polamalu called plays for the first time in his lengthy coaching career and it didn’t go well until well into the fourth quarter of the Bruins’ 31-24 overtime loss to Texas A&M at Kyle Field. But Polamalu appeared to indicate the need for self-improvement even after the Bruins rallied from a 24-9 deficit to force overtime.
