UCLA has little trouble putting away San Jose State

Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Jalen Hill each scored 18 points, and host UCLA flexed its advantage on the interior to rout San Jose State 93-64 Sunday. UCLA (6-3) used an 18-7 run to close the first half, attacking mostly inside to score points with its size advantage. The Bruins outscored San Jose State in the paint, 42-28, and their edge inside extended to the glass and free throw line. San Jose State (3-5) could not overcome its turnovers, which contributed to long field goal droughts in both halves. San Jose State went on another dry spell from the floor in the second, going more than three minutes without a bucket while UCLA extended its advantage to 33 points.
