WAMUAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed, who is on a working visit to the UAE. Their talks also addressed developments in the Middle East amid escalating military actions and their serious implications for regional and international security and stability. During the meeting, Abiy Ahmed condemned what he described as blatant Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and other countries in the region, saying they violate state sovereignty and international law. He also affirmed Ethiopia’s solidarity with the UAE in measures it takes to safeguard its security, territorial integrity and the safety of its people. His Highness also conveyed his condolences to Abiy Ahmed and the Ethiopian people over the victims of floods and landslides caused by heavy rains in southern Ethiopia, and reaffirmed the UAE’s solidarity.
