UAE Oil Giant, Adnoc, to Enter Ethiopian MarketSeptember 15, 2017 - UAE’s oil giant Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) disclosed plans to join Ethiopia’s market. According the National report, Adnoc will sell engine oil and lubricant in Ethiopia as it seeks to expand its presence in international markets. The new supply agreements for its Voyager branded products are with Ethiopia’s Kinsi General Trading Company. "With a population of approximately 100 million people, Ethiopia offers markets that represent a highly compelling opportunity to boost sales and further diversify our business,” said Saeed Al Rashdi, Adnoc Distribution's acting chief executive. Adnoc is considering the sale of a stake to the public in Adnoc Distribution, which operates more than 360 service stations throughout the UAE.
