UAE Defense Ministry: Iranian Attack Causes Three Fatalities, 58 Minor InjuriesAbu Dhabi, March 01 (QNA) – The Emirati Ministry of Defense has announced that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) air force and air defense forces destroyed 20 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles, and 311 drones, on the morning of the second day of the Iranian attack. It added that eight missiles fell into the sea, while 21 drones managed to strike civilian targets. The Emirati Ministry of Defense affirmed the capability of the UAE air force and air defense to address various threats. In its statement on Sunday, the ministry said that since the beginning of the Iranian attack on February 28, 165 ballistic missiles launched from Iran towards the UAE have been detected. It added that a total of 541 Iranian drones were detected, of which 506 were intercepted and destroyed, while 35 fell within the country, causing material damage.
