The U.S. will continue to send arms to Israel although Israel has not improved humanitarian aid access in Gaza. The Biden administration had set a 30-day deadline for Israel to meet its aid criteria, which Israel failed to do. However, the State Department said that it will not decrease weapons aid. By law, if military forces are deemed to be committing “gross violations of human rights” the U.S. cannot supply aid.
