By Kirk MaltaisExport sales of U.S. grains landed on the high end of analyst forecasts, with wheat sales exceeding expectations. In its weekly export sales report published Friday by the Department of Agriculture, sales for the week ended Jan. 11 were well up from last week's levels. Wheat sales exceeded the forecasts of analysts surveyed by The Wall Street Journal this week, totaling 707,600 metric tons in the 2023/24 marketing year - up from 128,100 tons the previous week.
