U.S. Firm GameChange Solar Wins New Contract in Egypt’s Benban Complex

A further step in Egypt expansionThe deal comes as GameChange Solar continues to scale up in Egypt, bringing its total deployed capacity in the country to nearly 3 GWp. In October 2023, the company partnered with engineering firm CEEC-ZTPC to supply trackers for the 560 MW Kom Ombo project. The Benban project is part of a broader program totaling 1,200 MW of solar capacity and 720 MWh of storage. Power generated will be fed into Egypt’s national grid under power purchase agreements signed in November 2025 with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC).
