WASHINGTON—Demand for long-lasting goods produced by U.S. factories rose in November because of ramped up aircraft orders, but underlying data show weakening demand for other American-made goods. Overall orders for durable goods, manufactured products intended to last at least three years, increased a seasonally adjusted 0.8% in November from the prior month, the Commerce Department said Friday. Economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal had expected a 1.3% gain.
