The U.S. dollar fell against emerging market currencies as investors bet the economic outlook in China may be improving. The WSJ Dollar Index, which measures the currency against a basket of 16 others, fell 0.1% to 90.07, its biggest decline in more than a week. The U.S. currency declined 0.6% against the Australian dollar and 0.9% against the Chilean peso.
