U.S Diplomat Found Guilty of Sexually Enslaving an Ethiopian HousekeeperAugust 1, 2017 - A U.S court found a former U.S Embassy diplomat in Yemen liable for sexually enslaving an Ethiopian housekeeper, according to Washington Post. Similarly, five years ago the diplomat was found liable in the same court for trafficking another Ethiopian housekeeper in 2008. Soon, she said, Russell Howard was raping her twice a day, telling her it was part of her job. Three or four days later, she said Linda Howard helped her find a job at a restaurant in the compound. She also alleged that Russell Howard repeatedly raped her, that Linda Howard told her to keep him happy, and that she was isolated and threatened.
