The U.S. added more than 63,000 new coronavirus infections on Saturday, while officials are still at loggerheads over whether it should be mandatory for people to put on masks outside the home. Confirmed infections have topped 3.7 million in the U.S. and the death toll has exceeded 140,000, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.
