Advertisement“Today is an important day for millions of people in the U.K. who will get access to this new vaccine,” AstraZeneca chief executive Pascal Soriot said. The number of COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized in the U.K. has surpassed last spring’s peak, during the first coronavirus surge. A separate study testing the AstraZeneca vaccine in the U.
