LONDON—Prime Minister Boris Johnson appealed to lawmakers to back his Brexit deal ahead of a crucial vote on Tuesday that would provide him with an important win in his effort to withdraw the U.K. from the European Union. Passage of the agreement would give Mr. Johnson’s Brexit plans significant momentum and deliver a victory that eluded his predecessor, Theresa May. It would provide a solid base from which to get the deal approved as it faces several more votes from lawmakers.
