SportSri Lanka Schools Cricket Association (SLSCA) has decided to forfeit match points earned by Royal College Colombo of two games during the ongoing Under-19 Division I Cricket season after it was unearthed that an unregistered player has been a part of the team's playing XI. In addition the SLSCA has informed Royal that it would lose match points of two games where the unregistered player has been a part of. Accordingly the SLSCA will not grant points for Royal in their games against St. Benedict's College and St. Joseph's College. Royal is certainly a school following guidelines and norms of the school cricket authorities and there had been a miscommunication on this matter.
