The Hong Kong Observatory issued the Strong Wind Signal No 3 on Saturday afternoon as Tropical Storm Nuri edged closer to the territory, RTHK reports. The observatory issued the Standby Signal No 1 on Friday night, the first such warning of the year. The storm is expected to be at its closest to Hong Kong on Sunday.
