Tyler Gamblin admits to stabbing, killing friend Nathan Gallant

Tyler Gamblin, 20, of Saint John, has admitted to killing his friend Nathan Gallant, 29, last summer, after a day of drinking and "smoking weed" together. When Justice Darrell Stephenson asked Gamblin if he entered the guilty plea voluntarily, Gamblin stood in the prisoner's box, wearing an orange jail-issued sweat suit and replied, "Yup." Gamblin told police on July 23 that Gallant was harassing McGaghey and him and that Gallant wanted to fight him. They told the resident Gamblin had killed someone and to call 911, which the resident did at around 6:39 p.m."Don't rat me out!" Gamblin remains remanded at the Saint John Regional Correctional Centre, where he has been in custody since July 24.
