Two youths were killed in separate road accidents due to poor road stretches and potholes. Puram, was killed on the spot after coming under the wheels of a KSRTC bus on Monday morning. While a 24-year-old carpenter was killed while negotiating a pothole in Chikkajala, the 21-year-old mechanic was killed after he slipped from his two-wheeler and was run over by a bus while riding on a poor road stretch in K.R. The Chikkajala police gave the name of the deceased carpenter as Manikantachar, a resident of Vinayaka Nagar. Puram traffic police said the victim was on his way to work when the accident took place.
