Two women were found murdered at their home in Vasanthnagar on Monday. A 59-year-old woman and her 32-year-old daughter-in-law were found murdered at their house in Vasanthnagar on Monday. The police said that the victims were at home, while Sampath, Santoshi Bai’s husband, and Dinesh, Latha’s husband and Satoshi Bai’s son, had gone to shop at Balepete. The assailants reportedly gained entry into the house without any force and hacked the duo to death before escaping with the valuables. Since there was no forced entry, the police suspect that the assailants may be known to the family.
