In the quiet of the early morning, Alisha Tackaberry and Marc Gemperle knelt by the grave of their three-year-old son, Graysen. Leeds County OPP released the news Thursday that two women are facing charges of committing an indecent act at a single grave site at Oakland Cemetery in Brockville, about 80 kilometres east of Kingston. But Tackaberry says she was horrified to learn several months ago that a video taken at her son’s grave in the spring was being shared on social media. In it, someone — no faces are visible — squats to urinate at the grave site. All clearly visible in the grainy video, shot at night, are the cherubs, stuffed monkey, colourful flowers and a candle lantern that decorate Graysen’s grave.
