Two suspected criminals wereshot dead following a botched robbery in Kayole, Nairobi on Tuesday night. A pistol with five bullets was recovered from the thugs before their bodies were moved to the city mortuary. In April, three suspected robbers were shot dead outside Barclays bank, Westlands branch in Nairobi. According to witnesses, the two were trailed by police from James Gichuru road where they had tried to rob a businesswoman. Police said the men were robbing pedestrians who sounded an alarm following the attack.
