Two-thirds of Britons - even half of LABOUR voters - say government is doing a good job again Covid

The vast majority of Britons say Boris Johnson's government is doing a good job of tackling the coronavirus crisis, a poll suggests. Two-thirds of the country, including nearly half of Labour voters, feel the Prime Minister has handled the pandemic well so far, the YouGov survey says. Yesterday a YouGov poll for the Telegraph found 48 per cent of the country backs the Government's lockdown measures specifically. Yet 44 per cent feel the PM could have implemented tighter controls as daily updates of people flouting the rules continue to emerge. Professor Linda Bauld, of the University of Edinburgh, claimed the British public's strong support to stick to the lockdown measures 'won't last'.
