Two teenagers have been charged in relation to a string of violent robberies that took place along the Finch Avenue TTC bus route in North East Scarborough. On Friday, Nov. 1, officers stopped a car with suspects believed to be involved in these robberies. One 16-year-old boy was charged with robbery, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and failure to comply with recognizance. Another 16-year-old boy is facing over 14 charges including robbery with a weapon, assault with a weapon, possession of a firearm and carrying a concealed weapon. The teenagers cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
