Two teenagers have admitted supplying the ecstasy which killed a 15-year-old schoolgirl. Leah Heyes, also known as Leah Elwin, died after taking MDMA at Applegarth car park in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, on May 11, 2019. Mitchell Southern, 19, and Connor Kirkwood, 18, both pleaded guilty to supplying the class A drug. The North Yorkshire coroner confirmed she had died from intoxification of MDMA, the chemical name for ecstasy at an inquest opening heard in June of last year. Kirkwood, 18, of Lynx Lane, Dishforth Airfield, pleaded guilty to supplying ecstasy.
