Two suspected gangsters have been shot dead by police officers in Nairobi. Nairobi regional police commander Philip Ndolo on Satruday said the duo was killed after they defied an order by the cops to surrender and instead shot at the officers. The incident happened along Luthuli Avenue within the CBD on Saturday morning. Ndolo said the officers were acting on a tip-off from members of the public. He said police were in pursuit of the assailants who managed to escape during the incident.
