KARACHI: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Sindh police on Monday claimed to have arrested two suspected terrorists, said to be associated with a banned outfit, Daesh, during a raid in Karachi’s Maripur. Naseemullah’s wives were involved in the transport of weapons and explosive material to militants, Mashwani revealed. Earlier on Saturday, the Punjab Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) had claimed to have arrested eight suspected militants in intelligence-based raids in various districts of Punjab. According to a CTD statement, four terrorists of a proscribed organisation were arrested during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Lahore. Mushtaq, Samiullah, Adil Jamal and Usama were arrested by the CTD in a raid.
