KLUANG: Two students from a tahfiz school in Simpang Renggam have gone missing after swimming in a river here Thursday (April 25). The two students identified as Mohd Ammar Mazeni, 13 and Mohd Danish Mirzan, 16, went missing after swimming with six other friends at a river in Kampung Sahari. "At about 6.20pm, we received a report about Ammar and Danish who went missing after a sudden strong current washed them away. "The six other students with them during the incident are aged from 13 to 18 years old," he said when contacted here. Meanwhile, Simpang Renggam Fire and Rescue department chief Asyraf Nur Mohd Yusof said five fire and rescue personnel were dispatched to the scene at about 6.16pm on Thursday.
