Two soldiers affiliated with the Libyan army's 444 Brigade have been kidnapped from Gharyan city, a source from the brigade has confirmed. According to the source, the soldiers were abducted before the Maghrib call while distributing Iftar snacks to motorists passing by in the Al-Hira area north of Gharyan. He said the incident appears to be a reprisal against the brigade, which lately stepped up its campaign against human trafficking dens.
