Two students drowned in a dam at Kaptumo near Eldoret in Uasin Gishu on Saturday. One of the girls was a secondary school student while the other victim was a pupil in a primary school. This is a tragic incident that has claimed young lives," said a resident Ben Rotich. He said the students had gone to wash clothes at the dam on Saturday evening and it is not clear how they drowned. Residents say the dam endangers lives.
