Two people are critically injured after a shooting in Toronto’s east end on New Year’s Day. Police were called to the area of River and Dundas streets at 10:30 p.m. for reports of multiple gunshots heard. They found two people with life-threatening injuries, and rushed them to hospital via emergency run. Toronto police have not found a suspect nor have released any suspect information. Police are cautioning people in the area to stay inside while they investigate.
