Email newstips@stuff.co.nzPolice were called to a “serious altercation” on Queen St, near Britomart, about 3.45am on Saturday, a spokeswoman said. Two people with “non-life threatening stab wounds” were taken to Auckland City Hospital. The charged man will appear at Auckland District Court on Saturday and is understood to be facing a charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
