Two people rescued after snorkelling in PauanuiGoogle Maps A man is believed to be missing after going snorkelling on Saturday afternooon in Pauanui. Two people are being winched by helicopter off a bluff in the Coromandel. The alarm was raised at 5.45pm on Saturday, when two people hadn't returned after going snorkelling off the rocks at Pauanui conservation area a police spokeswoman said. "A helicopter is being used to winch them off the rocks, it is finding it a little difficult to do so with the wind." The status of the two people is unknown.
