Emergency services attended a two-car crash on State Highway 45 in Taranaki. Two people were taken to hospital with moderate injuries. Two people were taken to hospital following a two-car crash on State Highway 45, west of New Plymouth. The crash occurred on the intersection of South and Hurford Rds, near Omata, just before 7pm on Monday. Both people were transported to Taranaki Base Hospital with moderate injuries, a St John spokesperson confirmed.
