A man and a woman have been left “badly shaken” after a petrol bomb was thrown at a house in Co Derry. Police said a suspected petrol bomb was thrown through the window of a property in the Circular Road area at around 6.45pm on Monday evening. “The occupants of the house, a man and woman, were able to extinguish the fire that ignited in the living room area,” a police spokesperson said. “They were both uninjured, but left badly shaken by what happened.”The police spokesperson said they are treating the incident as arson with intent to endanger life. “It’s understood the vehicle travelled from the direction of the Creggan Heights area, and left in the direction of Southway.
