PENDANG: Two nurses of Hospital Sik sustained serious injuries when their four-wheel-drive skidded and overturned at KM70.4 of the North South Expressway here. Four other medical personnel suffered light injuries in the 7.50am accident on Sunday. The vehicle was heading north to Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital when a tyre burst, causing the vehicle to go out of control. Nine officers from the station rushed to the scene. "Two occupants of the vehicles sustained serious injuries while four others suffered light injuries.
