The Pir Mahar Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University (PMAS-AAU) has established two new veterinary hospitals for animals ranging from camels to parakeets. Presently, the PMASAAU campus boasts a fully equipped veterinary hospital providing medical consultancy and surgeries. Dr Irfan is the incharge of the veterinary hospital at Kanth. He further shared that small animals and birds will be treated at the Charah veterinary hospital. Presently, the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, PMAS-AAU offers courses in the disciplines of: veterinary medicine, surgery, radiology, and theriogenology.
