More than eight people were critically injured in the incident that took place at the Muhorini-Londiani road. Items belonging to victims of the road accident scattered at the scene /MAURICE ALALWitnesses said six women and four men were rushed to Kipkellion hospital in critical condition. They said the driver lost control of the matatu, which rolled for about 30 metres into a ditch before it burst into flames. He said the tyre marks on the road leading up to the ditch showed that the driver was struggling to stop the vehicle. The accident caused a huge traffic snarl-up for more than 30 minutes as residents blocked the road to aid victims.
