Two elderly male patients confirmed with the coronavirus infection died today, taking the total number of deaths from the disease to 83 in Hong Kong. The Hospital Authority said a 91-year-old male patient, admitted to United Christian Hospital on August 9 due to cough, died at 7:54 am. Also, a 76-year-old man admitted to Tuen Mun Hospital on July 28 due to cough, died at 10:25 am. “Both patients have chronic diseases, and their condition continued to deteriorate after admission,” the Hospital Authority said.
