The detainees were identified as Shahjahan Sheikh and Sohel Rana, residents of Ghoraghat upazila. Confirming the matter, Ghoraghat police station Officer-in-Charge Amirul Islam said: “Police have detained the duo during separate drives on early Sunday. We are interrogating them.”Earlier on Saturday, police detained Asraful Islam, brother of expelled Jubo League leader Asadul Islam, the prime accused in the case, UNO office’s gardener Md Sultan and Shamol Chandra, a relative of Shantu Kumar Biswas.
