A senior police officer said that Santosh used to work in a gas agency from where he used to stock stolen cylinders. The boy succumbed to his injuries on Saturday while the girl died on Monday. The relatives of the family staged a protest outside the gas agency on Sunday demanding action against those responsible. The police are probing whether others were involved with Santosh in running the cylinder racket.
