“Two men, with their face covered, came on a motorcycle and barged into the office of builder Sumit Chakravarti at around 3.30 PM on Monday. The incident happened Monday afternoon in Ulhasnagar area of Thane when the builder and his son both were not in the office. They fired two rounds inside the office in a bid to get extortion money which was demanded by gangster Suresh Pujari,” Thane Police spokesperson Sukhada Narkar said. When the duo, did not heed to his demand, he sent his men to his office. Two persons associated with gangster Suresh Pujari allegedly opened fire inside the office of a builder in Ulhasnagar township in an attempt to get extortion money, police said on Tuesday.
