Two men missing after helicopter crash in the Chesapeake Bay

Rescue crews were searching for two men who were aboard a helicopter that crashed Saturday in the Chesapeake Bay about a mile south of Kent Island, the U.S. Coast Guard said. The crash was witnessed by the brother of one of the men onboard who had been boating in the area, said Coast Guard spokeswoman Corinne Zilnicki. The Coast Guard sent two search boats from Annapolis to the scene. Neither the helicopter nor its occupants had been located, Zilnicki said, adding that the water temperature was a dangerous 62 degrees. Brandi Colbert, assistant manager of the nearby Kent Point Marina, said she heard the helicopter fly over about noon.
