Two men charged in connection with notorious anti-Israel protest at Toronto mall

Two Toronto men have been charged in relation to a notorious anti-Israel protest in a downtown mall last month. Toronto police announced Sunday that two men were charged with unlawful assembly, mischief and assaulting a peace officer in connection with the Dec. 17 rally outside of the Zara store at the Eaton Centre. “I will lay you to sleep, I’ll put you six feet deep.”Charged are 19-year-old Amro Saeed Ahmad Abufarick, and 34-year-old Malek Said Ahma Abufarick, both of Toronto. In a press release Sunday, Toronto police accused the two men of blocking the entrance to the Zara store and preventing employees from closing. Both men made their first court appearance on Sunday, and police ask for anybody with information to call Toronto police or Crime Stoppers.
