Two launches collided on the Buriganga river, near Sadarghat Launch Terminal in Dhaka. The incident took place around 9am on Thursday, the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) Inspector Alamgir Kabir told the Dhaka Tribune. He said: “A Dhaka-bound launch MV Sabbir-2 collided with a Barisal-bound launch of Greenline Water Ways near the Postogola bridge. “A person was injured in the incident.”However, his indentify is yet to be known. Alamgir said: “BIWTA workers and police have been sent to the spot.”
